Funny People is Funny

Since my life revolves around Stand-up Comedy I am very excited about the new Adam Sandler movie Funny People.
The movie opens friday July 31st and the early buzz is very positive. Rotten Tomatos is already giving it great reviews.
I think that it will succeed where other stand-up comedy movies because its director is a former stand-up comic. As a former stand-up comic he has much deeper understanding of that whole world, and therefore the movie will be closer to reality than a director who never expirienced that world.If it is a hit I think that the movie will start a resurgence of stand-up comedy and inspire a whole new generation to try it.

"Funny People; Early Buzz is good"

I think it will succeed where other stand-up comedy movies failed because its director is a former stand-up comic.
